99 E150 Electrical, Interior Lights Problem. Any Help?
I have a 1999 E-150 with 5.4L engine and am having an electrical problem. In the past when I opened my doors the interior lights would come on and in about 10 minuets they would go off but now when my door is open, they will continuously flash off/on and in the panel behind the driver side, I hear a clicking sound that stops when the doors close.

I also am having problems with my driver side window and door lock. It will lock but not unlock. The window is inoperable but on passenger side, both (window, lock) work. I have changed the lock actuator but it did not solve the problem. Can it be caused by the same problem with the interior lights? A keyless entry module has been brought up but I have never used this type option.

I believe you are going to have to take it to the dealer and let them put a scan tool on it. Someone else had a problem similiar to yours, and we never did figure it out. Too many modules and other junk. You can try www.helminc.com for a factory diagram, or you can try ebay.
