spring is time for new toys

Hi from upstate New York,I sold my 50 Dodge pick up in January and my 63 Ranchero 260 4 speed this week.So it must be time to dig the 54 ford panel out of the barn and move it into the shop.It has a good running 239 y block with auto trans, the body is good but needs a total resto. Now the fun begins.do I build original, custom, rod,do I stay with the y block or something different?Deasiel?what about frontend?Mustang 2?I think this sit will help me with answers.

Hello and Welcome!

What a problem you have! Original is always the best unless you plan on scratching an itch and make it custom. There is a lot of help here so use it! lol

Post all your questions in the tech forums and then post a few more!

Be sure and stop by your state chapter (just scroll down to the bottom of the Forums list).

Good luck with your project!
