Creaky joints
Whenever I go over a speed bump or small hump, my front suspension creaks like an old car. I have a 2003 XLT 4x4 and it only makes the noise in the front axle. I have read in previous posts that it is possibly the brushings that need lubrication. Is this something I can do myself? What else can be suspect?

It could be your ball joints making noise as well as many other things under the truck. Your best bet is to put it onto stands and start flexing suspension parts trying to get them to make noise.
