Finally bit the bullet for my '36...was gonna run the chromed dropped axle I've been so proud of all these years, but just couldn't get the 5.0 to sit where I wanted it to without serious surgery to the firewall, and putting the engine in the cab about 4 to 6 inches.
Sooo, made a deal with a guy on a Heidts SuperRide2 IFS for the front, and a Currie "HotRod" rear (57 inches wide) for the backend...traded some parts I had for the Currie, have a 9 inch dropin from TigerDan that'll get me to the point I can start setting up a 4link for it.
Should have all parts here in the next week or two and the "build" will begin.
I hate spending money on stuff, but figured since this will turn into a daily driver and get about 30-40K miles a year on it (I've a long commute to work), best to start with new stuff and make it as comfortable as I can.
My new goal is a rolling chassis with he engine and tranny in place by the end of April...I'll start some gallery photo's once things arrive.
