mustang rims fit, but with some difficulty. Without the correct back spacing the front hubs will stick out too far and you won't be able to get the centercap on.
Do a google search for v8 ranger. You will want to find the info on project red ranger. He put mustang cobra R rims on his truck, and tells you the correct backspacing.
Oh ya, stupid point, but be sure you don't buy rims from a "fox" body mustang(79 to 94). The had a 4 bolt pattens, not five.
