That is a good price but being original that still seems low, I don't know why someone would sell a running Flathead, the money you put in the bank will never amount to the collected years of building antique value. Oh well hopefully a good home hey as long as people still see the Mercury badge and hear the Flathead roar OR purr it's all good.
Anything Ford wold look good in hat 53, but Preppy do you know what shape the motor is in in your maybe 49? I would love to get my hands on it no matter what shape but????
Man that is a nice lookin ol 53 looks good with those wheels and would be sweet with that 460 eh preppy dam americans as if they dont got enough nice ol ford trucks stealing them from us when we need and want them the most
The shape of that flathead is, it runs and drives and it sounds good, and thats about all I know about it! And its not 100 percent mine yet, the guy keeps changing his mind on the price.
oh wow I like that sound of that. So would you be wanting the 69 tow truck for is frame? I'm sure I can find something else to throw in to around here???
IF I get it, I would be trying to use the frame from my 77, just since I have it laying around, would be alot of work, but I sure got some good plans for it! Now I jsut have to wait for the guy to finalize what he wants for it!
Ya that would be great I think I might have a possible lead on a body, cabs rough but fenders good. Then we have a 1 ton that has a nice cab but I would still need the half ton fenders. If I would be able to buy your 49 powertrain that would be awesome.
