Ok I have read alot on the disk brake conversion. The only thing I am not shure of is the rubber brake lines. It seems there are some people that say they will work from the 73-79 trucks, others say they don't as they are not long enough. So which brake lines actually work? From what? thanks
For what year truck are we talking about? The best way to know for sure is to measure what you have compared to the 73 - 76 lines. Use a length of coat hanger or string to follow the contours of the lines.
The truck is a 66. I am in the process of gathering up the parts so that is why i am wondering about the rubber lines. The donor year I am not shure of. I have all but the master and the booster. I traded up for the whole front end. Got a free power stearing sector too. BUt that is another subject. So with a 66 what front rubber brake lines do I need to pick-up for the disk swap? thanks
Well the stock 66 front drum line is 18 3/4" and a caliper line from a 76 is 19". Unless it is a 4x4 then they are longer. You will need the caliper line since it uses banjo fitting and bolt. The drum line threads directly into the wheel cylinder.

The disc brake hoses are shorter than the drum hoses. Since you will be making new metal lines anyway, you just need to move them out from the frame toward the wheel a bit.
The other choice, which I have not confirmed myself, is using brake hoses from another vehicle (suggested use is a fwd Dodge Charger from the early to mid 1980s). This info is on my web how-to page.
