40 or 41 ford wrecker
I have a 40 or 41 Ford Wrecker, that was my father's. it is not cherry, but it is not a bucket of rust either. I feel it is in pretty good shape, & will try to get some pictures. I would like to get some idea of the value of it, so I can have some room in my garage. it has been stored in a garage for at least the last 45 years. It is dual wheeled, with a chain drive(pto, I think)to operate the wrecker. It is a 6 cylinder, I remember my father saying he changed it from 8 cyl to 6. It hasn't been started for probably 20 years.

Hi, welcome to the boards, about the best information anyone can give you would be to look in hemmings or a local paper and see what the going price around you is. the truck might not sell because of the wrecker and it might have a line of people waiting for it these old trucks are unpredictable when it come to selling them and how much to ask for them. We would love to see some pics of it though. John

Tried the motor last night. turned over all right. Took a few photos, if they come out, I'll post one or two. Maybe get it fired up in a couple of weeks & move it outside for some good photos.
