1947 2ton shop manual
I have just purchased a 1947 Ford Big Truck (2 ton) and I'm looking for a shop/repair manual to assist me. If you know where I can purchase one please e-mail with info! I used to own several 40's vehicles, actually a 47 Ford Coupe but its been awhile and I'm a little rusty on things like Positive Ground electrical. 1947 2ton shop manual
Well, I don't have a 1947 big Ford truck (just four 1/2 tons), but the shop manual for the passenger/truck models does cover the bigger trucks (up to 3 ton). Try the maunuals you can get from the link on this site, or check with one of the old Ford places and see if they have the manual for '47's. The manual I have is a repro and covers all model of Ford's and Mercs from 1939-1948. Try that for all the info on fixing up the truck. Good luck.
