Do any of you have info or know where I can find some regarding the "bell" style rear ends that FoMoCo used on teh big trucks in these years? What I am talking about is the one used on the trucks that did not come with the optional 2-speed rear, and was the LARGE version of the same type that was used in passenger cars and pick-ups. By "bell" style I am talking about the ones that the axle tubes bolted to a center section that looked much like a "quick change" rear without the rear gears and plate.
The specific information I am looking for concerns strength, parts availability, and gear ratios. If any of you know anything about these rears, please respond. . . Thanks
