Finishing Cab Interior and Bottom with Bedliner/Undercoating??
I'm working on a 38 PU and am nearly finished with the metalwork on the cab. There was quite a bit of metal that needed to be replaced or worked on. I had to replace rusted areas, weld up bullet holes, and work out dents. Even though the inside of these areas looks OK, I'd like to cover the entire interior and underneath with some sort of heavy texture. I know some have used products such as Rhinolining but I don't want to put that much $$ into it. I've considered spraying Herculiner or some other DIY bedliner material myself. But what I really want is a heavy texture that is VERY durable and either color matched or paintable. I'm also considering the paintable undercoating that some stores carry.
Does anybody have any experience in this area? What have your results been? Any other ideas I haven't thought of?
Thanks!

You might want to do a search in the "Bodywork" forum. There's been alot of discussions on this. I believe the general consensus it that you should paint the bare metal prior to use any kind of bedliner material. We're doing ours with POR-15.
Hope this helps.
I will post over in the other area.
I'm sure you will see a few more questions in here from me. I'll try to answer some too.
