Found a '40, just sitting in the weeds...
Hello, FTE'rs...
I usually spend all my time in the Forum for my '59, but this news is for you guys/gals:
I've been driving by a ranch near me for 3 years and finally caught someone coming up the driveway to ask,"what year and make is that truck WAY back there?". "It's a 1940 Ford" says the man. "Are you willing to sell it or part-it-out?" I ask (naturally). "Not part it out, but I'll sell it whole".
So, if anyone is interested, let me know and I can make arrangements with the owner to meet on his property and take pictures.

Found a '40, just sitting in the weeds...
The truck is located in Strathmore, CA which is between Bakersfield and Fresno, but east toward the mountains. From a distance, it appears to be a 1/2 ton. If anyone is TRULY interested, I can call the owner to meet him for a closer look and some pix.
