1959 F-100 spring swap

On my 1959 F-100 the front end i setting low since I put a 400 in it and I was wondering if I could put 1959 F-250 frot springs under it

I really wouldn't think that 400 would weigh that much more than a 272 or 292 that could have come in a truck like that. I would venture to guess that your springs are just old and new springs for your truck would lift it back up. Other than that, the F-250 springs should fit. John

the springs are probaly the original ones and this truck came with a 223 & 3 speed

Have them rebuilt. And spring and suspension shop should be able to rebuild them for fairly cheap.

How many springs do they have? The full set is 7. Someone may have removed some. I think getting a set from a spring shop or the ones for the 250 would work.
