I have a 2005 Screw, XLT with 225/70/17. I was thinking of changing to FX4 rims and tires of 275/65/18. Will this work with no problems.
Will I have any issues with this change, as far a rubbing or any othe problems? My Screw is stock with no mods.
I did exactly what your gonna do an di dont have any problems your mph will be off but mine is only off my about 1 or 1.5 which isnt a big deal at all good luck..
i just changed mine from the xl wheels and tires which were 235 75 17 to the fx4 wheels and 275 65 18 good year silent armors not probs at all and then i whent down the road with gps and my mph was dead on with my gps. i dont really understand how it's dead on though, but it is.
I just did the same thing but with the fx4 20's 275 55 20. Ford must put them little tires on there so you eat up your warantee quicker because my speedo is now right on. The 20's are real nice.
