Help! On 4cyl Flathead (Model A motor)
My uncle has a 1928 Modal A he is working on. My dad rebuilt the carb and they put it on yesterday. They did mess with the timing some, how much I don't know. But they did get the motor running. He is what it is doing. From the exhaust manifold down about 12" the exhaust pipe is turning cherry red. They shut the motor off and let the pipe cool. Adjusted the timing again and started it back. It done the same thing. I need some help from you guys so I can help them out. I told them is sounds like it is still out of time, but what do you guys think. Any help at all would be Great. Thanks
