I know and agree but jut wondering how many trucks to you think we would be able to pool together and would we be able to set up as a club. Now that would generate members. Seeing us out at events. Not just a car show THE car show.
Don't forget they must be show quality or near show quality to be permitted entry. The big established clubs will really screw new guys or independants around, you park somewhere and they will demand that you move.. and if you fail to comply they will gang up on you. It is real BS.
There is no set parking areas or anything, other than car audio and racing, everything else is up for grabs. To my knowlegde you can not reserve parking space.
In the end cruise weekend is a real BS show unless you are in a big club like MOPAR or other. I actually almost enjoy Pike Lake more than cruise weekend, as there are far less politics and more informed people... I usually don't need to worry about people leaning on my vehicles or breaking in. At cruise weekend people and kids are always climbing on the cars, touching, leaving hand marks on windows, etc... there is an underlying rule for all car guys... never touch or lean on another guys vehicle, ever!

This is something we need to do and will have to decide the course of action at the meeting in Jan. We need to get started on it to be ready for early summer.
Well I will be there this coming year with my truck and the Plymouth, i might hang out with the P.A. club as we are members but who knows. I disagree with Karm about the vehicles needing to be show quality, I was there 2 years ago with my ungly rusty truck and felt accepted....i even had some old Chevy guys come and have a look. It is nice to have a better looking truck for sure, and mybe the rules have changed.
That`s good to know about these engines, I was about to call Hank`s service and bite hard the big bullet. Remind me this weekend and if you can bring the 3 speed transmission that would be great.
I didnt know there was 10 or so show quality trucks in here, thats awesome! As for the other clubs trying to bully us around, trust me, I would not let that happen. I dont mind getting in some chevy guys face
