I got the same truck. Diecast Hallmark ornament. It is now sitting on the shelf above my computor screen. Man I just love it.
My wife got me a model of a 32 ford coupe. And best of all from my great wife she bought me a Miketa metal Chopsaw. YES! I sure will be making use of that.
Ny sister and brother inlaws got me a 3 1/2 ton floor jack with a foot pedal for my shop. Another very useful tool for the shop to use.
My mother in law got me a sears Cordless drill heavy duty. No more looking for long enough extention cords.
Over all it has been a pretty good christmas. Of the disabilty, back to work at old job for 3 more days and in new year start the new job. Man it is starting to look better. That early retirement is not looking so far away now.
Also got enrolled into a Blacksmithing course at the WDM in March.
Looks to be a busy year a head for me.
Still have my family function tonight. Maybe more goodies for the shop.

That doesn`t sound good Colin. What happened? If it`s like Saskatoon`s emergency centers it would be a long wait, especially on the hollidays.
Dad had surgery on the 19th to remove his prostrate and he had some severe stomach pain so I took him to the emergency to get it checked out. Turns out he had a gal bladder attack so they keep him in. Sounds like he will be coming home tomorrow
That`s a tuff way for your family to spend part of the Christmas hollidays, I`m glad it turned out ok.
I had my gal bladder out about 5 years ago and still get bad stomich pains fairly often.
Not the best way to spend a holiday but, we were prepared just in case. I was talking to my sister a bit ago and she said they will be sending him home tomorrow.
I have heard from a few people that a gal bladder attack is very painfull
