Mustang II steering rack question
The mustang II power steering rack on my 56 is leaking. Its an old used one so i'm not too surprised. After looking around online, i'm even more confused. Mine measures 16" center to center mounting points. Online i see some advertised as 15 1/2" center to center, and one vendor emailed me and said he "cant get" the 16" ones.
Are all 74 - 78 mustang racks the same? what years are different?
The easiest and cheapest way would be to order one from a local discount parts store, but they would have to order it, and if its not right they charge a restock fee, yadda yadda....
I'd rather get the right one than redrill or elongate holes.
Can any of you mustang II guys measure yours?
