Put up a few pics of my '36 after I pulled the SBC from it, and a pic of the dropped axle I'll be running.
As I mentioned before in the "what plans" thread, my interior is wide open to whatever...as seen in the pics
I just picked up a '93 Cougar last night with 51,xxx miles on it for the engine and tranny swap, once the rain lets up I'll roll it into the shop nd start dismantling it for my needs.
lol...gotta love foot power. I'm lucky enough to have a full shop-worth of tools...a coulple of brakes, welder, rollers, etc...so I'll make something after I mock up the engine and tranny. I was thinking of making the floor boards out of light gauge Al. diamond plate so I don't have to put any rolls in it, but not quite sure yet
I started puling apart the Cougar tonight, should have the 5.0/AOD out by tomorrow and somewhat sitting in the engine bay. If the plenum doesn't niterfer with the firewall...it's gonna be an EFI'ed '36, otherwise I'll look for an aftermarket plenum or breakdown and either go carb, or TBI-type njection.
Hey...but don't you like my "bling-bling" dropped axle?
I just posted pics of my dad's 36 in my gallery. he bought it on ebay 3 or 4 years ago. it has a 350, independant front suspension, camaro rear, and camaro tilt wheel. hood, cab and bed are steel. fenders and running boards are fiberglass. he drives it every single day. rain, snow or shine.
