The new ULSD in our IDI's
I just noticed at the pump they changed the stickers on the pump from LSD to ULSD, when they did this i'm not sure, this was the first night i have purchased fuel since about 40 days ago, (i've had my truck up on stands working on dropping in the d60 front and I had a hell of a time getting the shipping company to get a move on getting me the damn axle so i should have been done within a week but no they brought me the wrong axle first time around and then by the time I got my next axle It was about a month after i ripped out the d50 front) ANYWAYS, sorry bout that, I am wondering what will this new ULSD fuel do to our older engines that require the sulfur for lubrication? I put half a bottle of PS in my 7.3 seems to run just fine, i have noticed higher EGT's lately but i think that is do to the fact i need a new CDR and need to clean the True flow air filter i have. Any comments anyone?

really you need to run a good lubicator in the truck as ps grey or howels one face or the new meaner power by howels but as far as anything else expect to change fuel filter early cause it is like running bio thru it it will clean out all of the crud a few lower btu and not as good as fuel milage but its the oil companys good luck that the epa is 100% behind them lol just good luck oh yea expect a new ip in the near future unless had one withend the last couple of years older ones have a prob with the contents used to take the parifin wax and sulpher cont out
