2000 6.8 102,000
I have read multiple posts on spark plug changes and am considering a different angle. I bought my EX with 90,000 miles runs with no problems at all, I would like to change the plugs for routine maintenance. To prevent plug blowout would it be a good idea to just have the dealership do it. I figure if one blows out it would be covered by the dealer since they performed the change. If nothing blows out, that would be even better. I just figure that it would be worth the expense to have it done right the first time. Any reccomendations are greatley appreciated?????

I like your line of thinking. Considering the plug-blows on the '00 model, it sounds reasonable to get the dealer to do it. But first, ask them what warranties come with their service. I'd like to hear what you find out.
