292, not sure which tranny.
what should i be looking for?
i know it has rust at roof line and not sure it runs.

if manual trans, will it be a column shift?
if so, what is the shift pattern?
3 up, reverse up and back?
its been a long time since i drove a 3 on tree (which was a 61 econoline)

Rust in the roof not good but fixable. If it is a 4 speed on the floor the trans will be a T-98. Good but low geared. Reverse will be over and up. 3 speed will be In and up and higher geared. Don't pay to much....
