It depends on what size tires you have on it. It also depends to a degree on whether your transmission has overdrive, what your top speed is, and what kind of mileage you expect out of it.

my truck originaly came with 2.73 gears. It has a c6 in it. i switched to 3.50 gears at one point pretty good all around gear. I just recently went to 4.11 gears and i like it allot but the motors more built for it so the cam likes those gears. If you have a c6 i wouldnt go lower then 4.11 if your running stock size tires or you will really be tacking that motor down the highway. Mine tachs around 3400 at 65 atm

Like previously mentioned, there are a couple factors that come into play for somthing like that, but 3.73 would be a good ratio for better acceleration, and still decent RPMs on the hwy with a stockish truck.
