E4od to NP205
I know its a stretch, but I have a E4OD, from a 91 4x4, that I will be installing behind a `78 400. Has anyone ever used the maried NP205, or would it just be easier to track down a BW1356. Also, what is the rated top speed in 4wd high for the NP205 with 4.11:1 gears? Any help is appreciated!

It will bolt right up. The only thing that will take a little work is the shifter. I know you can make the 205 shifter work because I did it on a ZF trans. Not sure if the 1356 shifter can be made to work or not. My guess is that it can not be made to work because the shift throw is different or I think it is.
