It would be cool if it had the other years included. But oh well, very nice find thx rangerpilot.
EDIT: Did anyone else notice the difference in hp for the 2.3l and the 3.0l? Only 5 more hp for 2 more cylinders. Doesnt seem like its worth the extra weight, but the torque might be worth it.

Jimdandy, I was just kidding about the turbo, I do alot of my romping offroad, it would be to easy to suck water, dirt, or mud in and ruin a turbo. I'll stay all motor for what I do. Now that 4.5 stroker kit could be fun to play in the dirt with, torque, torque, and more torque !!
Crazyspyder69, whats more crazy, if you put on an intake, exhaust, and tune, you can get around a 170 hp at the crank on a duratec 2.3. Thats what the boys over at focaljet are telling me (focus forum) All though I do believe the stock ranger airbox is better than the focus. I have an 06 focus st with the 2.3, it has a 151 hp, and a 154 foot pounds stock. The ranger 2.3 seems to be detuned alittle. The focus 2.3 has a 20 pound balance shaft, if removed is worth 5 hp, the ranger doesn't have it. It seems ford doesn't care if the ranger steering wheel vibrates or not ha ha.
I guess that's what it all comes down to. How much time, money, and effort are we willing to put into something to make the power we want. I've got all the time and effort in the world, I just have money as my limiting factor for putting another engine into my Ranger.
This from the guy who wanted to drop a modded 350 (yes...CSB) in the Ranger, but after a little suggestion session with the guys on here decided slamming in the firewall wasn't worth it lol.
