Info needed on year of truck and brand of lift
i am thinking of buying a ranger to turn into a mud bogger. im just wondering what are the better years of truck. i dont want older than 1993. along with that who makes the best lift for one. keep in mind im not swapping and engine for a larger one. just a lift, gears, and tires.

Also get one with the 4.0 v6, there is now a stroker kit that will take it up to a 4.5. Stroked = torque, and thats want you want for a mud bogger, 'TORQUE". I listed the company in another post that makes it. In your list of parts, you didn't mention lockers, it's hard to beat detroit lockers for pure mud. Good luck with your project.
