New Car, New Engine, New Questions

ok here is the scoop i just bought a 67 mustang with 289 and it hasn't been driven in a yr and i need to change oil and fluids and belts and hoses but i live in AZ and i wanna know what oil to use in my engine for starters and second i had to rebuild carb but i have this nasty shake in it and i dunno what it is from it didn't do it when i bought it but since i rebuild carb it shakes but no hesitation when driving

I'd go with 10w30. The shakes might be from the tires flat spotting from sitting so long.

its not a shake when i am driving its when i am at a stop

the shake could be from vacum leak, timing off or low tranny fluid

drive it for a say 100 miles then do a fluid change and filter change. maybe run synthetics if you can afford it. that tranny will run so good and cooler as well.
