Mine not only supports the hobby, she always wants to got out and spin her own wheels in the mud. She gets really mad when I don't bring her with me. The last time we were out she sank her Grand Cherokee in a really deep puddle. Got 6 inches of water inside..what a mess! We were supposed to go on a trail ride that night, instead we spent the evening draining and changing fluids, and drying the interior. Good times!

my girl enjoys it if we dont have to spend too much time wrenching! she has helped me put in everything from transmissions, t-cases, motors, axles, she even helped me build my trailer. it's not that she's down there actually wrenching and welding but she's a HUGE help when it comes to getting the right size wrench and helping me take measurements and all that small stuff.

Chrono - didn't well tell you that your assistant had to start wearing a bikini before you could post anymore of those teaser shots????

I am single at the moment, and I have yet to have a gf that would wrench or even consider hanging out in the shop while I wrench. I do have a few buddies that are worse than women. Always show up with beer, and are skeeered to get their hands dirty, but sure do offer lots of advice from the sidelines.

"Always show up with beer"

That in itself excuses them for everything.

"but then i have buddies that will do anything you tell them for some cheap watered down beer"

I took my wife out wheeling for the first time a few weeks ago at a old gravel pit.She found a couple nice big hills to climb and scared the hell out of her when it was time to go down the other side. She would rather ride the quad to.My 9yr old daughter missed that trip but when she does go after she gets over the fear that im going to expose her to im sure she will love it.As far as them helping on the truck, not much interest but very distracting.
