the 39.5-16.50-17s are running about $320 a tire with shipping and tax....im all for buying a set of rockers as soon as i find a decent set of 8 lug 17 inch deep dish wheels to put them on....i have been googling the rockers, but would love to hear first hand how they preform, i have heard nothing but positive about them so far,...

What will you be using them for? You'll be dissapointed going from a bogger to a rocker if its primarily used in mud.

good thing mine wont be seeing any pavement!! from what ive read they arent as loud as expected on the highway....personally im not going for the big tank trap mud holes (yet!) so i want a tire that is versitile over various terrains, and the reviews ive read about rockers seem to say thats what rockers are good for....of course ill be trying them out in the deep mud, but i dont expect much from them so ill have plenty of chain on hand!!
