I don't know old Fords. I went to an old farmers place to look at some old iron he needs to sell/move...I've got to buy them all to get a couple of Chevy's I want to keep...going to sell all the Fords. I've looked all over the net for photos to match up with these, but it is hard to nail down the years/models on most of these.
Any help identifying these is appreciated.
Thanks, SC
Took a walk thru carnut.com and as near as I can tell you:
#1 '41 Ford
#2 '40/41 One ton pickup (need vin to figure out which)
#3 '42-47 (more probably 46/47 but need vin)
#4 '41 pickup I think - '40 had more hood chrome/stainless
#5 '32-34 (vin needed for me to distinguish between the two)
#6 '66 Galaxy
#7 '59 Wagon
#8 '39 Ford
#9 '41 Ford
#10 '53 hardtop
The bottom big truck with no hood is a 32 to 34 Ford 1-ton or larger. Probably a 1.5 ton. I can't tell without seeing the rear of the cab.
Email or private mail me if you want to sell the doors. I might even buy the whole cab if you can box it up and ship it. Depending on price and condition.
Car 3 is a 1939 Ford DeLuxe. The hood can be used on a 40 Standard. So can the doors and the rear fenders if you modify them to take 40 taillights. You can tell it is a 39 because the windshield wiper arms are over the windshield. The 39 windshield cranks out,and the 40 doesn't. It was also the last year for floor shift, and it has a flat dashboard with big round gauges.
The bottom car is a 52,53,or 54 tudor sedan. Can't tell without seeing the dash. 52 was the first hear for the OHV-6,and they would actually outrun the flathead V-8's. If it has a OHV V-8 in it,it is a 54. If the speedometer has a tinted plexiglass piece over the top of it and a engine turned piece of chrome trim running from the speedo across the radio and to the glove box,it is a 54. If the steering wheel says "50th Anniversary",it is a 53. If it has a flathead V8 without the anniversary steering wheel,it is a 52.
