7 prong/4 prong Super Duty Plug
Hello all,
I have a 99 F-250 Super Duty Reg Cab with a V-10. Currently, it has the factory flat four trailer wiring plug on it. I would like to know if I can unplug this from the trucks wiring harness and plug in a factory 7 prong/4 prong plug that the newer super duties have. Thanks in advance.

I also have a 99 and the 7 wires for the RV plug were all capped off and zip tied up to the harness. You might want to check if yours are too.
If not, you cant un-plug the 4 wires and plug in a 7 pin because you don't have a few wires you need for the 7 pin (reverse light, accesory, and brake control)
