Thinking about getting a 2wd 58' panel truck and was wondering how many were made versus how many are still around. I noticed a couple in the galleries, but Ive never seen one in person. Pretty much just want to gauge how rare/common they are.
Thanks

I wouldn't say they were exactly "rare", but......the panel trucks take a tremendous amount of body work to make straight, most of they were battered and abused, I know I had a ruff 46 that I was going to do.
They are also very "noisy" unless the interior has been sound proofed, I had a 63 Falcon Sedan Delivery that drove me nuts with the road noise, sold it to a friend, he carpeted the interior...noise was gone.
Also a lot of the panel trucks and delivery trucks ended up in Junkyards as "parts storage" units.
