Its hard to tell without looking at your engine compartment. Often the concerns are the location of the steering box on the drivers side, starter on the passenger side and front suspension clearance. I've seen a lot of 49 etc running shorty headers and they seem to work nice. As for long headers, you may want to look into the Tri Y's or headers from an early Mustang. Unfortunately, it's trial and error unless your custom making the headers. I'm running Sanderson shorties, and those were the only ones I found that would work for my setup. Good luck.

I have the Thunderbird Products block huggers in my SBF-powered '45 pickup & my SBF-powered '60 panel and am well pleased with them. Available from Parr Automotive as part number THU8427 @ $124.95 plain. Also avail coated or chromed.
