Question Radiator for '39

My father is looking for a replacement radiator for his '39 pickup. He lost his radiator when the fan pulley came loose and wiped out the current one. Any resources for New or NOS? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If the upper and lower tanks are still in reasonable shape, any decent radiator shop should be able to recore it.

He tried that. They wanted $1200 for a recore job. A little high considering he paid $350 for the radiator 6 years ago. We are looking at another radiator shop, but also wanted to see what a replacement would be. Thanks for the reply.

What shop did you take it to? Here I can get a recore done on my '46 for about $300. They charge by the square inches used.

He wasn't giving you a quote for recoring the radiator, he was telling you that he didn't want to do it.

Find a different shop.
