No brake lights, Yes Blinkers
I have a 2002 PSD, My brake lights at the bed do not work (the third brake light works fine). The turn indicators work all of the time even when the key is off. Ford suggested replacing the blinker relay which I did. This only made the blinkers work better with the key off. The relay continues to click like the blinkers are on all of the time with or with out the blinker lever in an on position. Also the right turn indicator on the dash is on all of the time. I have removed the relay until the problem is solved. I see lots of posts about the blinker switch going bad but I would rather ask than spend a bunch of money to replace parts that are good.

Looks like you're MF sw is gone or possibly a connection in that area. Check the wires under the back of the truck for damage if none then its gotta be the MF switch is toast or wires mashed together somewhere near the column..Not supposed to have blinkers with no key on. Make sure the flasher is the right unit.

Thanks for the reply. I removed the MF switch, took it apart by seperating the top half and bottom half. I then cleaned it with a four dollar can of electrical connection cleaner. Put it back together, installed it back in the truck and everything works as it should. I did loose the spring for the flasher switch. Now I have to pull it up by hand. Small price to pay for a cheap solution. Thanks again for the help.
