'01 F-250 specifications.

I have a question for you experts on the SD. I bought my first one used this year, '01 F250 4X4 CC Lariat with 72k. The window sticker was in the glove box and I was wondering about a few of the things.

1. What is the 8800# GVWR package?
2. What is the Off-Road Package?
3. What is the Trailer Towing Package?
4. Why did the Trailer Hitch Receiver have to be ordered separately?

Thumbs up

I think the 8800# package was standard for the F250

The off-road package in '01 was probably just skid plates

The tow package includes upgraded battery, alternator, and tranny cooler (auto's).

Not sure on the trailer hitch. I thought they were included in the tow package.

Should be a Class IV with a 2" receiver.

Congrats on the new truck!

Thanks Bad Dog. I guess that's why the 8,800# package was N/C. The Trailer Tow package was standard included with the Lariat. I don't have a skid plate so they must have removed it, not like I have a need for it.
