Can I put 35 spline where 16 was?

It isn't just a bolt in. I looked into a 35sp lockrite, but had to shave the insides of the spindles to get the axles in. However, a 30 spline is a direct bolt in- assuming you have a 30 spline something in the diff.

That's what I did. I wanted a lockrite, and got a set of 30 spline axles for $10. It was straight foreward. Of course, you could swap the spiders in an open diff, but I can't see what benefit a 30 spline open would be over a 16 spline open.

no, i was sayin your should instal it all, and then welder up, save a few bucks, unless its on a dd.
