slipping out of 4 hi
i have a 1991 f-250 with a 351, 5-speed and a manual shift transfercase. i plow snow with the truck and i noticed it is slipping out of 4hi, it clunks and bangs when doing so but the shifter doesnt move much more than a 1\2 inch, and it sometimes will catch and go back in to 4 hi. i use 4 low on some of my lots because the are either hilly or tight spots and it does just fine. is it cause of the shifter or is the chain getting loose and worn out. thanks guys

there isnt any adjustment to the linkage, i've talked to a few other people and they hve said its the shift fork inside the t-case.
anyone know where i could find a rebuild kit for it and just rebuild it completely?
