I normally run my truck fenderless but since I moved to WA desided to run fenders Have ruff fronts and glass rears. Bought Wesscott fronts just don't look rite. Does anyone have any experince with these or others. If these are the best than I wiil start to mount...........Thanks Jim
How do they not look right? You will almost never find any fiberglass parts that will just bolt on and be perfect. You usually will have to do some finishing work to make them fit right. Wescotts are some of the best though.
Thanks for the reply.
For starters they are longer. Passenger side even width. Driver side narrower neer rear of tire. All fenders including rears are narrower ID wise than stock. But you ansewed my question saying they are umong the best. May be I will return them If they need that much work may aswell put the time into steel...........Thanks Jim
Yeah, if the dimensions are just off, and they vary greatly from side to side, then perhaps they were made wrong, or something. I would call Wescotts, and tell them the problems, they might work on making things right.
Thanks Yes they are a great company I have delt with them for years. I was just tring to keep my daily driver going as its a great way to meet other rodders....Jim
We just bought a set of fenders from Early Ford, and they are very good. And we got running boards to. I was imprest with them. Wescott is a good company and Beebop's is to. There is a guy I know that put a set of fenders on a 48 truck from Wescott and they looked good to me. They was nice and think to. Early Ford stuff is thick also. I would let them know like 46fordtruck said b/c they are one of the best out there.
