76 F100 Trannies

Off the top of my head, a Ford 3-speed, a T-18 4-speed, maybe an NP435 4-speed (in 4x4's) and C-4 autos or a C-6 (if it's a 4x4).

I've got a 3speed on the column and I was wondering

what name or number Ford calls it other than "3 speed".

Sorry Dave, that's all I've ever heard it called-a "Ford 3-speed" tranny, hopefully someone else can add more! If not, you may try a boneyard for more info, they might be able to better ID with #'s. I don't think they used these for a lot of years after yours, like till '79 or so. Not much help, but the best I can do.
