2006 F350 Speedometer Woes
My Speedometer just quit. With the truck off, the needle points at 70 mph. When I start moving, the pointer will move up past 100 mph and end up between the 0 mph and 100 mph mark.
The trucks an '06' F350 Crew cab DRW. Only has 10,000 miles on it. Another quirk is the "water in fuel" message. No matter how much I drain the filter, I still get it. I know the fuel is clear and I use Howes all the time. When I drain and check, there is no water present.
Any one else have either of these quirks?
Thanks

I realize it's under warranty, but just figured there might be a simple fix without wasting time at the dealer. AWG, I didn't get a chance to try your suggestion to power down, before the speedo fixed its self. Needle slowly kept working it's way towards zero and after 4 days it's back to normal.
Someday I'll take it in and have some issues looked at, but for now, why bother. BTW, the water in fuel message has stopped too.
