zerostart block heater cord

ford wants 59 bucks for a cord that should be in my 45K dollar truck anyway - is there a workaround? I heard zerostart makes a cord for 20 bucks - it's not like it will be plugged in every night. Does anyone know the part number for the 2005 6.0? is the connection at the block proprietary? help - I've been searching for this cord for hours now

Hi, I bought the one on this page (http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214083) for $15.46 plus shipping. Scroll down to the bottom of the page PSM/3600008 7.3 and 6.0 Aftermarket replacement cord only. I put black split loom on the entire length of the cord and installed a Marinco recepticle in the air dam. It works great and looks clean.

Engr-Chas - THANKS!! I've been trying to find this cord and even looked on this site but couldn't find it the first time. Now I only hope the install will go easy....
