I bought an excellent front grill section from ebay, It came with the parking lights, headlight buckets and grill bars. They are very hard to find in this good condition.
Yes, I've been looking for a long time for the "perfect" grille...a few years ago I walked through GoodGuys show swap meet and just missed one...killer thing was the guy sold it for a hundred bucks...I offered him 200 and the buyer got nasty and I left...that was the last real good one I saw. I have two, both need a lot of work...I see ones worse than mine go for 300 and up on Ebay.
I've never seen a good one again at the swap meets.
I'm starting on my '36 in a few weeks, now that my shop is about done and figured since I'm not going for an original restoration, fiberglass will be just fine.
I checked out the buyers site who I got the glass shell from, IIRC, they had Chrome grilles for a grand.
My wife would make me sleep in it if I spent that much.
