Possible to install factory AC in a truck without it?

I recently purchased a 79 F150 4x4 without AC. The seller sent me all the parts to a factory AC including compressor, condenser, dash and ducts from another Ford. Is it possible to mount this into my truck or are the heater hoses and wiper motor in the way on the firewall? Moreover, is there a place to get a diagram of how to "do it myself"? Any help would be seriously appreciated.

You can install it and none of the wiper motor parts will interfere. You will need to cut a very large hole in your firewall, on the passenger's side, where the blower unit mounts. This is the trickiest part and definitely a measure twice cut once project. My suggestion would be to remove the stock dash and heater box, mock up the new heater box in the cab and then trace the area that will need to be cut out. Once you've got the hole in the firewall everything else is bolt in.

yeah, setup (including the cutting) will be the hardest part of this build. the rest shoult be relatively easy.

Thanks guys. Do the heater hoses that go into the firewall now have to be removed? Do these plug into the unit that I am installing?
