Info about my truck
I'm trying to find out info about my truck
I think it's a 1946
all i do know for sure is that its a fire truck
the code I have is C698T81-H12923 does anyone know what that breaks down to

I can only compare it to 48-52 vins from up north and general Ford nomenclature.
C = Canada
69 = '46
8 is likely powerplant - what engine do you have in it? The only other 46 Can vin I've seen had a '6' here.
T is likely one ton or larger
81 = standard cab/chassis
H = Home Office (Ontario) assembly plant
12923 = serial number
That's the best I can do. I could be all wet. But the numbers in the string are similar enough to the later ones that this is my best guess.
