adding oil to 40 221 V8?

Ok, I'm preparing ot change the oil, but I need to know where the easiest place to ADD oil back into the motor is AFTER I drain the old stuff out. I looked at the dipstick hole, but thats a bit small to effectively pour oil into and not make a mess in the process.

I don't know much about these motors, but isn't there a breather or oil fill hole in the valve covers?

No valve covers on flatheads. There should be a breather towards the back of the engine, top center, on the intake manifold, with either a push on or twist on breather. That is where you will add the oil.

Ok, I saw that, but didnt want to just pour fluids into any and every orifice I saw without knowing what the heck I'm doing.
