What engine do I have?
Hey all,
I searched high and low, checked faq's and tried all sorts of things on google. How can I tell the diffrence between a 351 and a 360? (Besides the cubes
) What exactly is an "FE"?
I decoded the VIN of my '76 F-150 and I found out that it should be a 360. Are there any tell tale marks on the manafold that will tell me what it is?
If this is a 360, are there any parts similaritys between 390's or Other engines?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm new to the whole Ford V8 thing. (and no, I'm not a "honduh ricer kid") I'm a Moparian that Likes free '76 f-150's

What engine do I have?
The F.E. engine has a rounded bellhousing, The 351M will have a flat spot between the top two tranny bolts.
