Can the cab be lifted up and over the steering column (steering wheel removed)with the box still bolted onto the frame or does the box have to come off first.
My estimate is that the bed would at least need to be unbolted and slid back to clear. The rearward tilt of the steering column would require the cab to move backward as it moves up.
Sounds like a lot of extra work not to unbolt the steering - I just did it and it was easy. I removed the column from the cab before I lifted the cab off the frame, however, that would not be necessary.
You got any idea how high you would have to lift the cab to clear the column? I have a A frame 12 feet high and just had enough to lift the cab clear.
