Electronic ignition advice

I want to convert my 1950 pickup to electronic ignition. Is there a prefered system I should use?

There are lots of systems to pick from. Many members here have raved about the Pertronics conversions. They seem to make them for just about everything. They use your existing dizzy and are not very expensive. They also seem to work really well.
