apparently some guys car gets stolen and he calls the cops. cops soon get the story straight though. turns out he lent the car to a couple of his crackhead friends to go get more crack and they never came back. (wow that rimes). anyway, even a 10 year old knows that stupid. this is gonna make the talk about drugs soooooo much easier.
Sounds like the guy in our town that called the cops to report that his house has been broken into and they stole his bong and bags of pot. Here's your sign!
Had one around here that called the cops cause she bought a rock of crack and the person that sold it to her gave her a piece of soap and she wanted her money back.
Drugs are not destroying this country, it is only a sign of deeper, bigger problems. There are too many people on the planet, surviving from day to day is becoming increasingly stressful. Modern humans are living way beyond their natural means.
I'll repeat:
"MODERN HUMANS ARE LIVING WAY BEYOND THEIR NATURAL MEANS"
Stress, anxiety, and tension are at an all-time high because of an ever-increasing demand on each persons time and what is expected of each person. The information superhighway, i.e. radio, TV, the web, satellite media, ipods, CD players, and every other gadget you can think of, is putting too much crapola in our heads. We are hooked on being "stimulated" 24 hours, 7 days a week. We are junkies for every kind of tobacco, alcohol, sugar, caffeine, and whatever "rush" we can get.
As the frantic pace continues to quicken, institutions such as, family, church, local schools, and local neighborhoods will all disconnect and the basic fabric of society will erode to a point beyond control.
Drugs aren't the problem!
And do you really want to know the saddest part???...Our governments can't fix the problem, our churches/Mosques/Synagogues/Temples/Shrines can't fix the problem, we are in big big trouble!!! I hate to admit it, society is due for a major "Big Bang" implosion.
Human nature is the same everywhere, all beings will react in a predictable pattern for the most part. That is a lesson you should have learned from Shakespeares' works. All the sad stories and human drama that old ***** wrote about 400 years ago in another country still holds true today.
If the drug problem is worse in the free democratic world, that probably is because of our so-called " higher standard of living," Drugs will follow money, an American teenager working at McDonalds, is far better off than a poor Colombian farmer.
Has any civilization (society) stayed on top for ever?
Its the natural rise and fall of things. . .
A society gets 'rich & powerful' and eventually gets physically & morally lazy; and there's always another thats just waiting for their chance to take the wheel.
Maybe America (or the 'west' in general) has it figured out, but that opinion would seem awefully arrogant (and predictable) to me, and the problems here along with the growth of some developing countries, would seem to fit the mold. . .
Kinda like sports teams in some ways - the more you win, the more likely individual selfishness and a sense of invicibility (and 'destiny') reigns, and the 'hungry' teams eventually eat your lunch. . .
I think the loss of morals and the belief that everyone is entitled to something is really dragging us down. The problem is deeper than drugs, but drugs are a problem. They're hailed as great by recording artists, who for some reason have gained more intellectual respect than people who are actually intelligent. Intelligence should be regarded higher, more emphasis should be put on character and integrity... but it looks like society is taking the easy way out. "I'm going to start...", "What I need is...", "When I finally do..."... all just excuses, for the most part. If everyone took it upon themselves to be the best person they could be, our world would benefit so much, even though there will still be people who try to take advantage of it, we'd have good men and women who'd hold them to a grindstone.

Here is another one, A local woman was supposed to make an appearance to court on some charge, when she went through the metal detectors, she emptied her pockets, and pulled out a big bag of pot. When she got to the other side, she tried to grab the pot from the officers hand, stating "I am not here on a drug charge, you have to give that back to me!" I was rotflmao on that one.

These people sound like Dave Chappelle's buddy in "Half-Baked".
"Boy, you have done smoked yourself retarded!"
Ran across MANY of these people when I worked in downtown Nashville, near the "projects". Pitiful, really. I too think our society is nearing implosion stage. All we can really do in the end is try to live right, teach our kids to do the same, set a good example for others. Beyond this, if you believe like I do, there will be a reward hereafter. Otherwise, let it be it's own reward. (Know that you'll sleep in your bed tonight instead of a cardboard box, and eat your meal BEFORE it goes in the trash.) Say a prayer for those who can't say the same, and if you get the opportunity to help them, do so. (But not by giving them the money to go buy another rock, or bottle.)
I had a buddy give, GIVE his crack dealer a mint condition Monte Carlo, I think it was a 78 or 79. He ended up stealing from his parents to support his habit. We partied together 23 years ago, before crack!! He just never grew up and still lives at Mom's and Dad's at the age of 36???
However this nation is becoming a nation of Give me, and I want!!! What take a job at $6.50 an hour (or whatever minium wage is), I worked for $3.75 an hour growing up??? I have done work for an old man that made $0.27 an hour in 1927 working on Pan Am Airplanes.
You now what's most Ironic about the way this nation is headed, look back to a previous post about "What Did Your Dad Teach You" post that in 30 years and see what answers ya get????
